Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken originated in South Africa in 1987 and has expanded across the globe to share their love for amazing flame grilled chicken. Remembering their beginnings, they incorporate the feel and vibrant culture of South Africa into each restaurant. Although, each location has its own unique design they all include vibrant colors, interesting mix of old and new, incredible patterns and much more.

Nando’s located in Oakbrook, IL partnered with WoodCo for the wood elements in the restaurant. The design of this store used the Santo Domingo Plank, an engineered Live Sawn American white oak flooring. The White Oak was filled and finished with a medium brown stain, creating the perfect rustic touch to the space. Oak is a great choice for a busy restaurant setting, Oak is a very strong stable lumber with a very consistent grain pattern.
