SODEXHO USA WINS $10 MILLION CONTRACT AT JOHNSON SPACE CENTER

Contract includes expansion of food services and changes throughout cafes, vending and catering

GAITHERSBURG, MD - January 6, 2005 - Sodexho USA announced today that it was awarded the contract to provide food and related services for the Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas, valued at $10.2 million over three years. As part of the new contract, Sodexho USA will provide a wide range of food, vending and catering services and will feature its Your Health, Your WaySM program that offering healthier, more nutritious menu items to nearly 9,500 employees at the JSC.

"We are proud of our new partnership and are confident that the implementation of our retail, culinary and service programs will improve the quality of daily life for the Johnson Space Center employees."

Sodexho USA will also provide catering at the Gilruth Center and enhance the vending program with high quality machines featuring popular snack selections as well as healthier items that are part of the Your Health, Your Way vending program. A new Starbucks® Coffee kiosk is scheduled to open in January 2005 to provide coffee and pastry snacks to employees.

In addition to providing the food service at both JSC employee cafes, Sodexho USA will be upgrading the look of the two facilities. New signage, décor, paint, and a complete replacement of all dining room carpeting, chairs and tables will bring a true restaurant look and feel to the sites.

Sodexho USA will also implement its Sodexho Adalta web site for all food service needs, allowing employees at JSC to view café menus, place catering orders, provide customer feedback and order online “Desk Top Delivery” service during the workday. Sodexho USA has also installed new software that gives employees the option to use credit cards to purchase their meals, expanding the method of payment at all of the cafes and the Starbucks kiosk.
