Sodexho USA Executive to Co-Chair AAHSA Leadership Circle

GAITHERSBURG, MD - June 30, 2005 - Sodexho USA, the nation's leading provider of food and facilities management services, announced today Executive Vice President of Senior Services, Patrick Connolly, has been appointed co-chair of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) Leadership Circle.

Established in 2004, the Leadership Circle encourages dialogue among a select group of care providers and business leaders and fosters an environment where shared learning and leadership development can take place. Goals for the coming year include sharing progressive business models, learning from the principles of transformational leadership and making a tangible contribution to AAHSA in the area of leadership development.

In addition to the Leadership Circle, Connolly has also been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Commission on the Future of Aging Services, an advisory board to the Institute for the Future of Aging Services (IFAS), AAHSA's policy research center. The Commission seeks to offer guidance, feedback, insights and advice pertaining to the IFAS' organizational development and programmatic growth.

Connolly is also an active member of the AAHSA Annual Fund Committee that is responsible for the general oversight of the AAHSA Annual Fund and fund-raising strategies and recommendations as well as working with the Long-Term Care Network, a national professional association of fund-raising executives.
