Sodexho Inc. Announces New Vice President of Public Relations

Jaya Koilpillai-Bohlmann brings 18 years of experience

GAITHERSBURG, MD, November 7, 2005 - Sodexho USA (NYSE:SDX), the nation's leading provider of food and facilities management services, announced today the appointment of Jaya Koilpillai-Bohlmann as vice president of public relations.

Koilpillai-Bohlmann, with 18 years experience in public relations, communication and marketing communication, began her post with Sodexho on September 26, 2005. She reports to Steve Brady, senior vice president of corporate communications.

Koilpillai-Bohlmann has held positions with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, the American Red Cross, Adventist Healthcare, GTE/Verizon, and consulting and corporate communication positions with healthcare, technology, travel/tourism, entertainment - companies in service-oriented and dynamic industries on an international scale. A native of Maryland, she has lived in Los Angeles and western Canada.

Koilpillai-Bohlmann has earned PRSA's Bronze Anvil award and several other industry honors for her work in crisis communication, corporate positioning and nonprofit public service education. Koilpillai-Bohlmann is affiliated with the Public Relations Society of America, American Women in Radio and TV, the National Press Club and several other professional organizations.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Md. and a master's degree in public relations from the University of Maryland, College Park.
