Red-medium 7/16 thickness wallaba wood shingles.

Wallaba wood is one of the most abundant timber products in Guyana, South America. It is a highly sustainable, dense tropical hardwood that is light red to reddish brown in color. Wallaba shingles are naturally waterproof and fire-resistant. They are naturally breathable eliminating the need to install a breather below the shingles. The sawn shakes create a uniformed pattern on the roof.

Although the lumber starts off a reddish-brown, the sun and rain soon turn it to a beautiful silver color. Wallaba shingles truly do “top off” the perfect house.

Choose Type 316 stainless steel for seaside applications and superior corrosion resistance.

I've enjoyed working with Gareth George. He always responds in a timely manner and that can be very helpful especially when we are working on a tight timeframe
