Post Oak is a very dense and stable lumber with a fair amount of variations. Texas Post Oak is a White Oak, so the raw wood will finish similarly to your standard White Oak floor. Texas Post Oak offers more interesting grain patterns, color variations and characteristics than standard White Oak. It is also a lot harder and denser, making it a really tough floor for your high traffic areas.
