Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken started one afternoon in 1987 when two friends went to lunch at a Portuguese restaurant in Rosettenville, Johannesburg and fell in love with the chicken and its sauce. They proposed to each other they would buy the restaurant and the recipe. Against all odds they succeeded and have expanded to locations in South Africa, Portugal, Zimbabwe, United Kingdom and finally to the United States in 2008. WoodCo's marketing team reached out to Nando's after seeing pictures of their restaurants using some types of wood elements. After sending samples of options, Nando's felt WoodCo was the perfect pair for some of their new locations, including their newest addition in "Streeterville" Chicago, IL. The Streeterville location showcases WoodCo's Collier Plank, but was customized for Nando's into an Engineered Floor. The planks were milled into tongue and groove to fit the Herringbone Pattern. This floor demonstrates WoodCo's commitment for tailoring to our clients needs brining the best flooring options and other materials whatever the project may be.  We can't wait to work with Nando's for many more restaurants to come!

If you may be interested in your own custom floor, reach out to WoodCo at 210-298-9663 and we would be more than happy to assist.
